Sand Volleyball...Can you dig it?

Registration is now open for sand volleyball. You can pick up your team rosters in Cooper Athletic Center or in Bartlett 223. They need to be turned in by September 2 at 2pm. Games will begin on September 8th at the sand volleyball court on Lloyd Beach.

I-Night at Cooper

Come out on Friday night, August 21 from 7 to 9pm for a great night of Intramurals fun! We'll be playing volleyball, cornhole, HORSE, and pool activities. Learn about Intramurals, sign up a team for sand volleyball, and win some cool shirts! We'll see you in Cooper Friday.

Intramural Cup Points

In order to encourage students, faculty, and staff and residence halls to join in the fun, the Intramurals program has adopted a points system that allows for the awarding of an Intramurals Cup Champion as well as a Residence Hall Cup Champion at the end of the academic year. The point system provides more incentive for individuals and groups to participate in the Intramurals Program by keeping the thrill of competition within its limits and placing a strong emphasis on sportsmanship and having fun through participation.

Points System-
Register a team on time = 25 points
Team forms completed/turned in on time = 25 points
Attend captains meeting = 50 points
On time/ready to play at event = 50 points
Good sportsmanship = 25, 50, 75 points (awarded at IM staff discretion)
Forfeit game = loss of 50 points
Unsportsmanlike conduct = loss of 75 points

Team Events-
First Place = 30 points Second Place = 25 points
Third Place = 20 points Fourth Place = 15 points
Any finish below Fourth = 10 points

Individual Events-
First Place = 25 points Second Place = 20 points
Third Place = 15 points Fourth Place = 10 points
